CCS tells public sector: roll up and save money on buying IT products

“Flash sale” will run through March, offering savings on the Technology Products 2 framework agreement

The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) is to hold a “flash sale” starting tomorrow and running throughout March, offering public sector bodies the opportunity to save money on IT products.

CCS says it has been working with a number of suppliers on its Technology Products 2 agreement (RM3733) to offer “huge savings” on a range of products including desktops and laptops.

The sale will run throughout the month, or until the stock is sold out. Stock availability is limited and will be sold on a first come, first served basis, CCS said.

It said the short-term deals with manufacturers and distributors, including HPE, HPI, Dell and Lenovo, Samsung, Apple, XMA and Toshiba could help public sector organisations – whether they are schools, colleges, local councils, NHS trusts, charities, police forces or government departments - save up to 35%.

CCS said the deals can be viewed by logging onto the Purchasing Platform for Technology Products 2 and some of the “flash sale” products will appear on the landing page. Clicking through will take organisations through to the full listing.

CCS said the flash sale deals are only available through Technology Products 2 (RM3733 Lot 6) via the catalogue content on the Purchasing Platform.
